COLLAGEN

Collagen is the main structural and functional protein of the skin. Due to the high content of hydroxyproline, it intramolecularly binds water with hydrogen bonds. Water molecules are also organized into multiple layers around collagen molecules. It has a basic role in creating the structure of cells, tissues and organs. Gives skin strength and durability and contributes to its healthy appearance. It is manufactured via an enzymatic hydrolysis process, mixture of straight chain polypeptide with an average molecular weight of 2,000 (range 1-4 KDa)
